OVERVIEW

A hoodie for a good cause.

For Mavotrans, I designed the BOUWWAUW! hoodie to celebrate their 70th anniversary, with the goal of supporting the Melania Foundation. This exclusive hoodie is not just a stylish piece of clothing but also a powerful symbol of solidarity. The design highlights the collaboration between Mavotrans and the foundation, with all proceeds from sales going directly to the El Ansar Women’s Association in Sudan, helping women produce concrete blocks to support their families.

CHALLENGE

A design with meaning.

The challenge was to create a design that reflects both the history of Mavotrans and the mission of the Melania Foundation. The pattern needed to creatively incorporate Mavotrans’ products while simultaneously highlighting the social impact of the collaboration. The design had to be simple yet meaningful, conveying a message of solidarity to the wearer.

RESULT

A project with lasting impact.

The BOUWWAUW! hoodie is the result of a successful project that celebrates Mavotrans' 70th anniversary while making a meaningful contribution to the community. By donating all proceeds to the El Ansar Women’s Association in Sudan, the project supports the production of concrete blocks, enabling women to help their families. The design serves as a tangible reflection of the collaboration between Mavotrans and the foundation, creating a lasting impact on both the individuals involved and the broader community.
