PROJECT
Wilgenrijk Baby Clothing.
Clothing for the very first moments.
OVERVIEW
A warm welcome in the green.
For the residential area Wilgenrijk, I designed, on behalf of the municipality, a clothing set for babies born here. The set consists of a romper, a shirt, and a pair of pants: a first tangible memory of the place where new living happiness begins.
Wilgenrijk stands for peace, space, and nature. A green, water-rich area where avenues, small squares, and residential neighborhoods seamlessly blend into the surroundings. This serene and thoughtful way of living formed the starting point for the designs.
CHALLENGE
Identity translated into textiles.
The challenge was to capture the qualities of Wilgenrijk: calmness, nature, and quality, in soft, timeless baby clothing. The designs needed to feel serene, in line with a sustainable and stylish living environment, while at the same time remaining accessible and loving for a broad audience of young families.
By using subtle shapes and nature-inspired elements from the surroundings, a collection was created that doesn’t shout, but whispers.
RESULT
Calm designs with lasting value.
The result is a restrained and harmonious clothing set that perfectly aligns with the vision of Wilgenrijk. The romper, shirt, and pants reflect the green, water-rich surroundings and contribute to a warm welcome for new residents. A small gesture with a strong sense of connection, where quality, style, and tranquility come together.
